Dan Wickenden

Hi, my name's Daniel Wickenden, and I'll have been in Russia for five years come October 2007. I've often asked myself why and, to be honest, I can't really answer that question - it's certainly not for the weather. I guess it's all the warm people I've met here and the adventures I've had that just keep me from going anywhere else. I love teaching Russians; they're diligent and respectful yet a lot of fun. I came to Language Link after teaching for a short while in England and found that Language Link provided me with the support and conditions to grow professionally. I have worked for other schools but none of them match Language Link in terms of the level of care that they provide for their teachers. I've been to other countries but none of them are as unique, challenging or fast-moving as Russia.
