Job Opportunities in Russia

Each year Language Link, Russia provides extensive employment opportunities for over 150 native English speakers who enter our academic programme in such capacities as EFL teachers, teacher-interns, volunteers and work-study placements. Our schools of English are located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Samara, Toliatti, Rostov na Donu, Shakhti, Stavropol, Ekaterinburg, Perm, Ufa, Steritamak, Orenburg, Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Obninsk and Zelenograd. Numerous sub-centres are located within the peripheries of these cities.

Job Opportunities Overview

The decision to apply for a certain opportunity should be based on a number of factors. These include your present level of EFL training, relevant education, practical experience and whether or not you wish to actively involve yourself in a programme of Russian language and culture studies. Though there are other more personal considerations that should also be taken into account, these, from an employer's point of view, are the most important.

*Though many teachers who live and work in a foreign country may have an interest in developing their language skills for day-to-day purposes, this category refers to an applicant whose desire to learn Russian is equivalent to his or her desire to teach.

As will be noted, Volunteers have been excluded from this list. This has been done due to the fact that volunteering can span a continuum ranging from the personal to the professional. What is important is that those wishing to volunteer be 1) interested in working in Russia, 2) financially positioned to support the Volunteership and 3) willing to invest time, effort and energy in the Volunteer Programme.
